More than any other series, these images from China reflect my
desire to quiet the mind and evoke a sense that each moment in
time and space has a value in the human experience. For most of
this series the location is not very important. However my travels
have included Guangzhou, Guilin, Chengdu and Chongqing, Wuhan,
Beijing, and the Yangtze and Li Rivers.

In and around Lhasa is the setting for most images: Potala Palace,
Jokhang Temple, Barkhor market, Drepung and Sera Monasteries,
Palalubu Temple, rural farms, and the wonderfully friendly Tibetan
people. Can you smell the yak butter and incense?
